The sponsorship packets have arrived!

The first packet came on Thursday and the other on Saturday. What a feeling it is to receive those packets...so many emotions. They're both so precious.

I do not want to let these children down.

wonderful!

If you received your sponsorship number, you can go to Compassion.com and set up an account there. From there, you can go into your account and see the spot where your children are and you can write to them from there. It's as close to "emailing" them as you can get. You could drop them a note today!

If they're really little, you can send them coloring pages and stickers. I had some other ideas on my blog. I sent my child a coloring page with the instructions that she was to color it as a gift for her mother and then I received a thank you note FROM her mother! That was very special!

Good luck to you!

Thanks!

You know I don't know how I did it but when I received the sponsorship packets their ages were different from what I thought. That's no problem but I had already went out and bought stickers to go in their letters. As it turns out Victor is 12 and the stickers I bought for his letters are characters from the CARS movie. Do you think that would be too "babyish" for him? I also bought some "Jesus love me" "I'm special" stickers for both of them.

My other child is a 7 year old girl so when I read your post on paper dolls I thought that was a great idea!

I've already emailed both of them. Now, I'm getting their first letters together with photos and other goodies. 1/8 inch is not very big...lol

Thanks again Andrea!
