This is Paola. She is 7 and from Guatemala. She lives with her parents and 1 other child. Her father is a farmer. I chose her because she just "spoke" to me. That face - that oversized, mismatched outfit...her bare feet. Paola like singing and playing with dolls.

I have sent a small financial gift, like $20, specifically for new cloths. They made my sponsored child just glow! If you look back at pictures of Azalech, you can see what clothes she started with and what she has now. Maybe that could be something you request around her birthday?
